Website development & maintenance

A website that works as hard as you do.

Web design for businesses in Cary, Raleigh and across the Triangle, plus clients nationwide. We design, build, repair and maintain websites that load fast, work on phones and turn visitors into leads. Most of our sites are WordPress, and we also work in Square, Weebly, Wix and Shopify.

Where it usually breaks

Where small business websites usually go wrong

Most sites we look at don’t have a design problem. They just aren’t doing their one job: getting the right people to call you.

Every service on one page

A single “Services” page with eight bullet points. Google can’t rank one page for eight different searches, and visitors can’t tell what you’re actually good at.

Slow on a phone

Huge images, a pile of plugins and bargain hosting. Most visitors are on a phone, and they won’t wait around.

Forms that go nowhere

The contact form emails an inbox nobody checks, or an address that belonged to someone who left two years ago. The lead was real. The follow-up wasn’t.

No idea what’s working

Analytics with nothing set up to count calls and form fills. You can see traffic, but not which pages bring in business.

Someone else has the keys

The domain is registered to a former designer’s account and nobody knows the hosting login. It’s your website, technically. Practically, it’s a hostage situation.

Nobody’s updating it

WordPress core, the theme and plugins all need updates. Skip them long enough and you get a hacked site or a blank white screen, usually on a Friday.

What’s included

What our web design work includes

Mostly WordPress, because it’s flexible and you own it outright. We also work in Square, Weebly, Wix and Shopify, and build funnels on our GoHighLevel-based platform.

Design and copy built for leads

Every page answers who it’s for, what you do, and what to do next, with a phone number where a thumb can reach it. If the brand needs work first, we do that too.

Structure and SEO foundations

One page per service, clean URLs, titles and meta descriptions, schema, and redirects from your old pages so you don’t lose what already ranks. Ongoing SEO builds on that foundation.

Speed, mobile and accessibility

Compressed images, a lean plugin list, and layouts checked on real phones. Plus the accessibility basics: readable contrast, alt text, headings in order, and forms that work with a keyboard.

Forms, tracking and CRM

Forms and booking connected to your CRM, so every inquiry lands somewhere and gets a reply. Analytics and conversion tracking set up so you know which pages produce calls.

Repairs and rescues

Broken layouts, errors, slow pages, malware, a plugin update that took the site down. We fix it, or tell you honestly if it’s time to rebuild.

Ongoing maintenance

Updates, backups, security monitoring, and the small fixes that come up, so the site keeps working without you thinking about it.

Our approach

Built to convert, maintained to last.

A website isn’t a brochure. It’s where people decide whether to call you. We build for that decision, then keep the site updated and secure so it doesn’t quietly break. And it stays yours: the domain, hosting and accounts are in your name, and we work with access you grant.

  • Clear messaging and calls to action on every page
  • Mobile-first and fast
  • Connected to your CRM so no inquiry is lost
  • Ongoing care plans available

Fit check

Who this is for (and who it isn’t)

A good fit if

  • You’re a service business, practice or professional firm, and your website’s job is to get calls, bookings or consultations.
  • Your current site is slow, dated, hard to update, or you’re a little embarrassed to send people to it.
  • You want to own your site and accounts, not rent them from a vendor.
  • You want someone to keep it maintained after launch.
  • You’re in Cary, Raleigh, Durham or anywhere else in the US.

Probably not a fit if

  • You want the cheapest possible template live by Friday.
  • You need custom software or a web app. We build marketing websites, not software products.
  • You’re hoping a new site will fix an offer that isn’t selling. A better website helps more people understand it, but it won’t change the answer.
The process

How a website project works

Book a strategy session
  1. 01

    Look at what you have

Your current site, analytics and Search Console, which pages bring in leads, and where everything lives: domain, hosting, logins. That’s when we can tell you whether to repair or rebuild.

  2. 02

Plan the structure and the look

A sitemap with one page per service, the messaging for each page, and a mood board so we agree on the look before anything gets built.

  3. 03

    Build and connect

Design, copy, forms, booking, CRM and tracking, built on a staging site so your current site stays up while we work.

  4. 04

    Launch carefully

Redirects from old URLs, Search Console, speed and mobile checks, and every form tested by actually submitting it. Launch day should be boring.

  5. 05

    Maintain and improve

Updates, backups, security and fixes, plus a regular look at what visitors do so the site improves instead of slowly aging.

FAQ

Web design questions people usually ask

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the number of pages, the platform, what can be reused, and what the site connects to. We quote after looking at what you have, rather than throwing out a number that means nothing.

Which platform should I use?

For most service businesses, WordPress: it’s flexible, good for SEO, and you own it. Shopify if you mainly sell products. Square, Wix and Weebly are fine for simpler sites, especially if you’re already there.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding?

Often, yes. If the bones are good, fixing speed, structure and forms goes a long way. If the site fights you at every turn, a rebuild is usually cheaper in the long run. We’ll tell you honestly which it is.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain, hosting, content and accounts stay in your name, and we work with access you grant. If you ever move on, you take everything with you.

Will a new website hurt my Google rankings?

It can if it’s done carelessly, mostly by changing URLs without redirects. We map your old pages, keep or redirect anything that ranks, and check Search Console after launch. Ongoing SEO picks up from there.

What does website maintenance include?

Core, theme and plugin updates, backups, security monitoring, fixes when something breaks, and the small content changes that pile up, like new hours or a team photo.

Do you only work with businesses in Cary and Raleigh?

No. We’re based in Cary, NC and work across the Triangle, but we build and maintain websites for clients nationwide. Not sure the website is the real problem? Try the Growth Diagnostic.
